We create a positive and welcoming environment where young athletes can grow through the game of basketball. We are committed to fostering respect, encouraging teamwork, and building perseverance both on and off the court. Through skill development and character-building experiences, we inspire every player to reach their full potential while having fun and supporting one another.
Splash Basketball Club is built on the core values of respect, teamwork, and perseverance. We believe in fostering a positive environment where every player supports one another, grows through challenges, and plays with integrity on and off the court. At Splash, it's not just about the game—it's about building strong character and lasting connections through basketball.
Upper Beaconsfield Splash Basketball Club, now more commonly known as Splash, was founded in 2020 with Adele Gallagher as the inaugural president. The club quickly grew into a thriving community, centered on teamwork, sportsmanship, and inclusivity. Today, Splash offers players of all ages the opportunity to develop their skills and enjoy the game.
Our club thrives thanks to our dedicated volunteers - mostly made up of passionate parents who work tirelessly to support players and families. Their commitment ensures a smooth, positive experience on and off the court for the whole Splash community.
Respect is the foundation of our entire community. We believe that basketball is more than just a game—it's about creating a positive, supportive environment for everyone involved.
Whether it's respecting coaches' strategies, the decisions of referees, our teammates, opponents, or the broader community, we value how we treat one another. From players listening attentively during team talks, to supporting the opposing team, to caring for all club equipment, respect is woven into everything we do.
This culture of respect helps foster a club where every player, coach, and supporter feels valued, creating a strong and unified community where we all grow together.
Teamwork is built on a foundation of encouragement and support. Whether it’s during a tough game or a challenging practice, every member of our community—players, coaches, and parents—plays a vital role in uplifting one another.
From a cheer from the bench to a simple high-five after a missed shot, every act of encouragement strengthens our team spirit. We celebrate every effort, big or small, and focus on the growth of each individual, knowing that true teamwork is about building trust, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.
By fostering a culture of positivity and resilience, we create an environment where everyone can thrive together, on and off the court.
Perseverance is a value we embrace across our entire community. Whether it’s a player practicing a skill repeatedly, a coach refining their approach, or a parent supporting their child through highs and lows, we all play a part in fostering resilience.
We understand that progress doesn’t always come easily - but it’s through consistent effort and a never-give-up attitude that growth happens. From bouncing back after a tough game to showing up with determination week after week, perseverance strengthens not just individuals, but our club as a whole.
Together, we celebrate the journey, knowing that every step forward - no matter how small - is a shared success.
